For parents of neurodivergent kids

Homework night shouldn't take the whole night.

Sproki is a gentle AI study buddy for kids with ADHD, autism, and other wonderful brains. Your child picks a creature, names it, and lets it help them start, stay with it, and finish — so you get to be the parent again, not the homework referee.

No ads. No selling data. Built with parents, for parents.

Want to try just the first problem together? It's a short one.

Does this sound like your evenings?

Researchers who interviewed parents of kids with ADHD found that families describe homework as a daily "battleground." If that word fits your house, you're not doing anything wrong. The setup is just hard on these brains — and on you.

Starting takes longer than the work.

Forty minutes of "in a minute" before a single problem gets read.

One hard question tips everything over.

Frustration builds quietly, then all at once. The worksheet ends up on the floor.

Your help feels like pressure.

Every "let's just try" from you lands as a demand — and gets pushed back.

There's no evening left.

No downtime for them. None for you. And tomorrow, it starts again.

There's a gentler way to do homework night.

A note from our family

Why we're building Sproki

Our daughter is 10. She has dyslexia and ADHD. A worksheet that should have taken twenty minutes would take our whole evening — and most of her good mood along with it.

Two things changed how we saw it. First: the trouble was often who was helping, not what the help was. When it was Mom or Dad at the table, every hint sounded like a correction. Second: she grew attached to a cartoon fox in a reading game. She'd try hard things for that fox that she'd never try for us.

So we're building the helper we wished we had. A creature that's on her team. That turns fractions into dragons and treasure when dragons are what she loves. That notices when she's getting tired — and slows down instead of pushing harder.

How Sproki works

  1. Your child makes it theirs

They pick a creature, name it, and choose a world they love — space, wild creatures, building, and more coming. Sproki uses that world to explain everything.

  2. One small step at a time

They snap a photo of the assignment or just say what it is. Sproki turns it into tiny, doable steps and shows only one at a time. No wall of work.

  3. Calm before the storm

Sproki watches for signs of rising stress — long pauses, repeated wrong answers, "I can't." It offers a break or an easier way in before things boil over.

It guides. It doesn't do the homework.

Sproki asks questions, gives hints, and celebrates progress. It won't just hand over answers. Your child still does the thinking — Sproki just makes the thinking feel possible.

A lander needs 3 kg of fuel for every 100 m it drops. It's 600 m up. What could we try first?

um 600 ÷ 100?
Pip
Yes! That's how many "chunks" of 100 m. What do you get?

Made for neurodivergent brains — on purpose

Most learning apps are built for typical attention and then "made accessible." Sproki starts from how ND kids actually work.

Interests are the fuel

Special interests boost focus and motivation. Sproki builds fractions out of dinosaurs and rockets on purpose.

Invitations, not orders

Demand-light language and real choices — "Want to try this one or that one?" — so kids who resist demands can say yes.

Calm for the senses

Soft colors, no flashing, no surprise sounds. Motion can be turned off. Kids control the volume of everything.

Talk, type, or tap

Voice in and read-aloud out. Dyslexia-friendly text. Works with screen readers and keyboard-only.

Plain, literal words

No confusing idioms or sarcasm. Clear instructions, said one way, one at a time.

Curious about anything?

After homework, kids can ask to learn whatever they want — volcanoes, coding, sharks — in their world, at their pace.

You stay in the loop — without hovering

A simple parent view shows what got done, where your child got stuck, and how they were feeling along the way. Spot patterns — like Tuesday math always going sideways — and bring them to teachers or your care team.

  • Finished assignments and time spent
  • Topics that needed extra help
  • Mood check-ins and break moments
  • You choose what Sproki can and can't do

Questions parents ask

Who is Sproki for?

Kids roughly 9 to 14 with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, PDA, anxiety — or no label at all, just a brain that finds homework hard. A diagnosis is never required.

Is this cheating?

No. Sproki is built to guide, not answer. It asks questions and gives hints so your child does the work and actually learns it.

Does it replace therapy, tutoring, or an IEP?

No. Sproki is a homework companion, not a clinician. It works best alongside the support your child already has.
